Officially formed in 1716 and granted the royal prefix in 1787 The Royal Engineers, or Sappers as they are frequently known, are multi-skilled in combat and engineering, supplying military and technical support to the British Army.

Providing fundamental and often critical assistance to all fighting units, their role adapts to the needs of any given conflict. From building bridges, railways and roads to constructing forward fortifications and clearing minefields.

Their motto, Ubique & Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt means Everywhere & Where Right and Glory Lead is a testament that, even though they hold no official battle honours, the Corps has seen action in all of the British Army’s major conflicts.

Our Royal Engineers Collection, licensed by the MoD, features a cufflinks and a lapel pin beautifully engraved with the Corps insignia. Gifts perfectly suited to honour a career of service.
