The Royal, Electrical & Mechanical Engineers, usually known as REME, provides vital engineering support to the British Army. Responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment across the Force they are deployed wherever that kit goes in the world.

Formed in 1942 during WW2, the REME helped to solve the dire need for a dedicated team to expertly tend to the complex new machinery of war.

The broad and diverse range of equipment used across the Army means that the REME receive some of the most in-depth technical training in the Army. Training that they often have to use under extreme conditions and pressure.

This extensive expertise and knowledge is reflected in their motto Arte et Marte which means By Skill and By Fighting.

Celebrate a soldier or veteran of the REME with this beautiful range of gifts including cufflinks and lapel pins. All exquisitely engraved with the Corps insignia, it is a perfect way to honour a career of service.
